You & Your Bike:
.
Now you know a little about Charlotte....Awesome!
You & SCRC:
What hobbies or interests, other than riding?  Gardening(flowers), fishing, hiking, outdoors stuff.

What's your worst/best memory of high school and why?  Worst: Driver's Ed, because I had no behind the wheel
experience before starting the course.  Best: Would be everything in general: teachers, classmates, friends, because
back then all grades 1-12 were in one building and we were all like family.

What was your favorite pet you had as a child and why?  Tramp the dog.  He survived all of us kids and a few run-ins
with vehicles.  He died of old age.

What is the most rewarding experience you have had and what made it so?  Besides raising my children and having
grandkids, that would be when I took my mom and dad on a trip to Myrtle Beach.  Neither one of them had ever been on a
vacation away from the farm, or been to the beach and seen the ocean.  That was about 1979-80.

What is the best thing that has ever happened to you?  Besides my children, that would be I am thankful that I was
raised on a farm in the country.  Couldn't have asked for a better place to be raised.  Didn't have a lot, clothes were hand me
downs or made by my grandmother, food was raised in the garden, milk came straight from the cow and pasteurized with
home pasteurizer, eggs from chickens and so forth, didn't have t.v. 'till about 12 years old, nor indoor bathroom.  Memories of
swinging from the trees, tree-houses, playing in the hay barn.  Summer days were sunny and seemed to last forever, of
course it wasn't all fun...had chores.  Helped pick up/stack the hay bales, dig thistles out of the fields, weeds out of the
garden, milk the cows. THANK YOU MOM AND DAD.

What is the most embarrassing moment of your life?  Well, that would be hair related; have had my hair turn completely
orange (done by a professional I might add)  It was so orange they wouldn't let me look at it; they had to call someone from
Roanoke to come and fix it, and yes, one time I had a perm.  The girl fried my hair to the roots, then I had NO HAIR.

If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would it be?  Greece, Rome in Italy, Egypt.  I have always been
fascinated by mythology, ancient Gods, the pyramids, etc.

If you had the chance to go back in time for 24 hours, where and when would you go?  I would not, it is in the past
and exactly where it belongs.

If you knew today was your last day on Earth, how would you spend it?  Surrounded by family.

Who or what inspires you and why?  Someone who forms their own opinion of people/different subjects without the
influence of others and stands by it.

If you had one word to describe yourself, what would it be?  Quiet
How did you hear about Southern Cruisers?  Jesse and Tracy Sherman.

When did you join SCRC?  June '07

Why did you join SCRC?   To meet people who wanted to ride safe and have fun.

What have you found to be the most rewarding as an SCRC member?  Friends I've met along the way,
and involvement with St. Jude.

Have you ridden with an organized group before?  Not before joining SCRC.

How did you earn your road name?  chrlttsweb is my own, and Tink I received when I 1st joined NRV444.

What advice would you give to a new rider or someone contemplating becoming a rider?  Take your
time, be safe, observe everything and take nothing for granted.

In your own words:   Slowly close your eyes, take in a long deep breath, exhale gently......everything's going
to be o.k.
